My own works. They are both the object of study and the place the research gets tested, which is an awkward double role worth stating rather than hiding: I am not a neutral observer of gameful installations. I make them, and the questions come from things going wrong in my own work rather than from gaps in a literature.
The rule

Phosphor is the current example: applying a borrowed concept to it revealed that two of my three mapping principles are not perceivable at all, which no amount of conceptual tidiness fixes.
